For the first part of our vacation we drove down to Lakeport California, which is on Clearlake to visit my Aunt's. It was a 9 hour drive and we did it all in one day, with a quick trip at both grandparents house to pick up some things, we were there for dinner.
We had a nice relaxing couple of days, Chris did a lot of fishing, and well I did a lot of nothing.
We stayed with my Aunt Helen she is 94 years old, needless to say we were the entertainment, she very much enjoyed watching the boys roll around and play.
My Aunt Jan had to work during the day but we looked forward to spending the evening time with her and her partner Karen. We had some great food, some cookies that weren't quite a cookie, more like balls of dough.
Karen and I took the boys over to the County Jail, my Aunt works there and wanted to show off the boys to all of her friends and co workers. My Aunt Jan was so cute I don't know that I have seen her with a bigger smile. She was fun to watch as she proudly introduced us.
Our trip to the lake was very overdue and much needed, Thanks for letting us crash and relax!

A day on the lake with a professional guide.
Needless to say he had a blast, caught over 20 fish and his biggest largemouth bass ever at almost 7lbs.

Is there a witness that Chris caught that many fish?? I do believe this is a common story for our husbands out on the lake! hahah good times.
